Hey there

I’m a big-haired chick from Thornton Heath, South London who wrote before she could write. Literally, I used to get offended when people couldn’t read my scribbled stories as a kid. Don’t worry, I’ve got my abc’s down pat now. I love fiction with all the intensity of a guilty pleasure and I want to move people with it the way it moves me. I left my home for four years

studying creative writing at the University of East Anglia to learn how to harness those powers. That being said I can be a bit of a magpie; I’ll fly to whatever shiny thing I see.

I think that’s why I fell for advertising. Being a creative copywriter allows me to be the intellectu-hoe of my dreams. But when it boils down to it, I know what I want to do. I want to write a novel.

Someday, I want you to be sat down with your kid watching the film adaptation of my bestseller, a book as integral to the home as table salt, and say: “I knew her when she was just a wee blogger”. Maybe you’re Scottish, maybe you’re not. We can fine tune the details later. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy my little scribbles here.
